Save The Frogs Day Rally in Washington DC - April 29!

Dear SAVE THE FROGS! Supporter,

Please join me and fellow SAVE THE FROGS! supporters in Washington, DC on the 3rd Annual Save The Frogs Day (Friday April 29th)! We will be gathering at the steps of the US Environmental Protection Agency to raise awareness of frog extinctions and demand a federal ban on Atrazine, the 21st Century's DDT. Atrazine turns male frogs into females at 2.5 parts per billion, and eighty million pounds of it are dumped into American ecosystems each year. The rally will take place from 11am to 1pm, and then we will head to Lafayette Park in front of the White House to celebrate. I will provide a keynote presentation. All ages are welcome to attend. We'll see you in Washington, D.C. on April 29th! Please spread the word far and wide!

If you would like to volunteer at the DC Rally, please fill out the volunteer application form at http://savethefrogs.com/volunteers -- we could use your assistance! We seek general assistance as well as an experienced photographer at the event.

Save The Frogs Flags!

These super-portable outdoor flags are a fantastic way to spread the word about frog extinctions and SAVE THE FROGS!. They easily fold up to fit in your pocket, bookbag or backpack. The SAVE THE FROGS! Flags have two grommets at the left end so they can be hung from a flagpole...they also double as banners to hang behind your info table at your next frog-related event. Send us pictures of your flag in famous places and on mountaintops, and it may appear on this webpage! Let your frog flag fly!

Please donate: help us get Atrazine banned!!!

Our campaign to ban the use and production of Atrazine will not be easy: Syngenta, the company that produces it, has $11 billion in revenues and a strong lobby in Washington DC. Your generous financial support will help us educate Americans about the harful effects of Atrazine, and enable us to promote and coordinate the Save The Frogs Day Rally and publicize our efforts.

SAVE THE FROGS! is less than three years old: we receive no government or foundation money. Over 95% of our funding comes from individuals like you. That means YOUR SUPPORT makes the SAVE THE FROGS wheels turn! Thanks!!!
