Save The Frogs in Australia!
Dear Australian SAVE THE FROGS! Supporter,,
I'm writing you because I need your help to make the SAVE THE FROGS! movement grow...especially in Australia where SAVE THE FROGS! lacks any recognizable activity, and where habitat destruction and pesticide use are as rampant now as they were when I finished my Ph.D. research there in 2007.
Here are some easy ways to help SAVE THE FROGS!
Please forward this email on to your Australian friends!

Save The Frogs Day in Australia - April 28, 2012
Save The Frogs Day is the world's largest day of amphibian education and conservation action, and is undoubtedly the best time of year for getting publicity, community involvement and funds raised. Please help us reach our goal of 200 events in 30+ countries this Save The Frogs Day: hold an event! Every person reading this email is capable of holding a Save The Frogs Day event, whether you are a student, teacher, biologist or just a random frog lover.
-- Give an
-- Lead a night's frogging expedition;
-- Hold a fundraiser
-- Get your students drawing frog art or writing frog poetry.
-- Lead a march to raise awareness of Atrazine in Australia.
Be creative. Lots of ideas for Save The Frogs Day events are on:

Southern Orange-eyed Treefrogs in Atlanta Airport!
In 2006 I photographed a couple Southern Orange-eyed Treefrogs (Litoria chloris) in Springbrook National Park in southeast Queensland. Those frog have become two of the world's most recognizable frogs: one is our logo frog; the other was the poster frog of Save The Frogs Day 2011, which was the largest day of amphibian education in the planet's history. He is now larger than life on two 14 foot long posters in Atlanta's International airport -- the busiest airport on the planet.
See you in late 2012...probably!
I tentatively plan to spend October through December 2012 in Australia:
-- Leading an eco-tourism frogging expedition to raise funds for our work and teach people about Australia's amazing frogs;
-- Giving presentations on amphibian conservation to schools, universities and government agencies;
-- Kicking into full gear campaigns to ban Atrazine (which Australia uses several million kilos of each year) and to ensure my former university (Griffith Gold Coast) does not continue to destroy frog habitat.
-- Starting a SAVE THE FROGS! Australia that would have a permanent base in Australia.
Please help make all this possible! Go vote for SAVE THE FROGS! at www.savethefrogs.com/chase then order some cool frog merchandise!
Enjoy your weekend,
