Upcoming SAVE THE FROGS! events in Santa Cruz

Dear [[First_Name]],

I hope you are enjoying your Santa Cruz summer and that you can join me at one of our upcoming SAVE THE FROGS! events listed below. It's great to have Santa Cruz as SAVE THE FROGS! World Headquarters. Right now we are developing projects to (1) get UC Santa Cruz undergrads removing non-native fish from mountain yellow-legged frog habitat; (2) educate inmates at Watsonville's Rountree Jail about amphibians and incorporate them into the Watsonville Wetlands Watch's habitat restoration projects; (3) educate our county's citizens about the highly endangered Santa Cruz Long-Toed Salamander and ways they can protect the species. These in addition to our numerous projects across the nation and around the world.

To save the frogs, we need your financial support! We our currently $925 towards our goal of raising $5,000 by Tuesday August 28th. Please place the most generous tax-deductible contribution you can afford and help us reach our fundraising goal of $5,000!!! Thanks!

SAVE THE FROGS! Art Fundraiser: Friday September 7th

You are invited to the inaugural SAVE THE FROGS! Art Fundraiser, which will feature over 250 pieces of the greatest frog art ever created! The Art Fundraiser will take place at Art du Jour in downtown Santa Cruz September 7th, 2012 from 5pm-9pm. We will be auctioning off amazing frog art from around the world to raise funds for our amphibian conservation efforts. Former Mayor of Santa Cruz Mike Rotkin will be in attendance as the Guest of Honor. I will give a presentation on frogs suitable for kids and adults. Rob Court of the Scribbles Institute will be giving free frog drawing lessons. The Central Coast Herpetological Society will have live frogs that will be on display for your educational pleasure. Driscoll's is donating organic berries. We'll have wine and live music. It will be a great day in frog history!
