Dear SAVE THE FROGS! Academy,
Without an educated public that cares about amphibians and understands the multitude of threats they face, we have little chance to stop the march of humanity over every last wetland on this planet. There are billions of humans alive who either don't know or don't care about environmental conservation, and there are numerous people and companies who care nothing about the Earth other than to how best exploit it for their own profits. Then there's us. You, me and the 30,000 people who receive this newsletter. We are the people who educate society and change the world. We have the formula: educate and inspire. And we know it works, from nearly six years of building this movement as a grassroots effort that started from one person and has now gone to over 75 countries and educated over a million people about frogs. Now we all need to amplify our efforts! We need to keep this moving going and growing and YOUR financial support makes what we do possible.
For the last five weeks I have been teaching students from all around the world about amphibian conservation through our twice weekly SAVE THE FROGS! Academy free online classes. From these classes we've added over 30 hours of educational content to YouTube, so students can learn from these classes for decades to come. Please attend these classes, and donate today so that we can continue to offer top-quality original environmental education FREE to talented environmental conservationists from around the world. Your tax-deductible contribution will help us increase the number of amphibian conservationists in the world and will yield tangible conservation results that are directly relevant to protecting frog populations. Each class we hold costs $160 to produce, promote and distribute, and thus the cost to run 100 classes per year is $16,000. For the price a university charges to educate one student for a year, SAVE THE FROGS! Academy can educate 10,000 students!!! Our movement depends on our ability to provide free education to all; your support makes it all possible!
Yes this is so important I asked twice! Thanks for believing in SAVE THE FROGS!

New video all about frog dissections, please watch it!
Please watch this video we produced through SAVE THE FROGS! Academy, all about frog dissections! On September 8th, 2013 SAVE THE FROGS! Founder Dr. Kerry Kriger led an online discussion about the ecological and ethical issues surrounding frog dissections, and ways we can all work towards bringing an end to the dissection of frogs in public schools. Our goal is no frog dissections in USA public schools by the end of 2014.
"With computers and virtual dissection software, this barbaric practice is totally unnecessary. It's a waste of school funds and a waste of life. We never dissected frogs in my high school biology class, and I don't feel my education suffered in the least." -- Donna Brooks
