Finding a career you enjoy

While I was in New York in November I got interviewed by career coach Maggie Mistal for her "Making A Living Unplugged" podcast. We discuss following your purpose and finding a career you enjoy. You can listen to the interview or download the podcast here or here. Maggie also interviewed me on the 2nd Annual Save The Frogs Day, April 30, 2010, and you can listen to that interview here.

Please report your pond building successes!

Did SAVE THE FROGS! inspire you to build a frog pond you've never told us about? If so, please send us a few photos and tell us about your pond(s)! Remember that ponds don't have to be large to provide suitable habitat for frogs! You can learn all about frog ponds at:

"Dear Kerry, I live in South Africa, in the Eastern Cape. After finding your site and hearing for the first time that frogs are endangered, I built 2 very simple frog ponds in my yard. Many birds and snails are loving them. I have found one frog swimming in the pond and 3 hopping around the garden! I must admit that I get super excited when I see them :) Thank you, for helping me to help them! And for all of your brilliant work at SAVE THE FROGS!
Kind regards, Charlene Lutge"

Nurul Islam of SAVE THE FROGS! Bangladesh wins an International Youth Award

The School Broadcasting Network has awarded Nurul Islam of SAVE THE FROGS! Bangladesh an International Youth Award in recognition of his excellent amphibian conservation and community awareness and outreach projects he is implementing with SAVE THE FROGS!. Nominees were judged on the following criteria: Leadership; Innovation; Initiative; Caring for Community; Outcomes and/or Potential Future Outcomes; Resilience and Solutions. The eight judges considered his demonstration of initiative, leadership, and innovation in successfully initiating amphibian awareness campaigns in a country where there is very little recognition of the important role of amphibians within the eco-system to be highly commendable. Congratulations Nurul, who also won our Marie Kichrberger Award for Amphibian Conservation! Learn more about Nurul's efforts at:

Save The Frogs Gift Center

Frogs are the most threatened group of animals on the planet: nearly 2,000 of the world's amphibian species are threatened with extinction and at least 150 species have entirely disappeared since 1979. SAVE THE FROGS! is America's first and only public charity dedicated exclusively to amphibian conservation. Your generous financial support makes our work possible!
