Drumming For The Frogs: Tuesday April 8th in Berkeley
This Tuesday April 8th, please join me for a night of live drumming and lessons at the beautiful new SAVE THE FROGS! Education Center in Berkeley, CA. I will be on hand with other drummers to set the beat and give you simple tips to get you Drumming For The Frogs. Drumming For The Frogs is a worldwide movement inspiring drummers to raise awareness for endangered amphibian species. Drums have been used worldwide since the dawn of human history as both a means of celebration and as a psychological weapon to energize the battalion and to inspire fear in the enemies. Drumming For The Frogs is a celebration of frogs, nature, and wildlife, and also a battle in the unfolding environmental revolution that will transform our society to one that lives in harmony with the Earth. Plus drums are a whole lot of fun to play! Someday soon we may be drumming for the frogs on the steps of San Francisco City Hall or the State Capitol in Sacramento, so this will be great preparation! All skill levels are welcome. Bring your own drum if you have one. Please contact us in advance if you plan to attend and need a drum.
- Cost: Free, though the frogs would appreciate a $5 donation.
- Time: April 8th, 730pm-9pm.
- Location: 2524 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94702 (near Dwight Avenue).

How we saved Canada's Fowler's Toads
On December 6th, 2013 I sent this letter to the Molinaro Group asking them to cancel their plans to build a 12-story condominium complex on top of Fowler's Toad habitat in Fort Erie, Ontario Canada. The Molinaro Group never responsed, but they cancelled the building plans 24 days later. We are remaining vigilant to ensure another flawed plan does not get passed by the Fort Erie City Council and Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.
