Please help us raise $10,000 to save the California Red-Legged Frogs!

Dear SAVE THE FROGS! Supporter,
Frog populations have been declining worldwide at unprecedented rates, and nearly one-third of the world’s amphibian species are threatened with extinction. In May 2014 we are raising money for the California Red-Legged Frogs! The California Red-Legged Frogs were nearly eaten to extinction by the California gold miners in the late 1800's. Now they are under threat from habitat destruction, pesticides, roadkill and non-native species that eat them and compete with them for habitat. SAVE THE FROGS! has seven separate projects to benefit these iconic frogs (see below). Please donate today to SAVE THE FROGS! so that we can increase our efforts to protect this beautiful and endangered species!

Create your own personalized fundraising webpage to raise money for the California Red-Legged Frogs!

We are excited to introduce personalized fundraising pages! Your personal fundraising webpage will be for you to send your friends and family where they can see why YOU care so much about frogs and for them to donate. You'll be able to set a fundraising goal and easily track how much money you have raised for the frogs. Your personalized fundraising page will allow you to spread the word about SAVE THE FROGS! and will raise donations from people outside our current network. We challenge everyone to start out with a $500 fundraising goal, and encourage all schools to set up a Team Fundraising Page.

Please visit www.savethefrogs.com/red to set up your personalized fundraising page!

At the top right of the page is a "Create a Fundraising Page" button. Click it and then just follow the instructions. Be sure to tell your personal story about why you care about frogs and why your potential donors should chip in. Best of luck and thank you!
