Is there a central event location for Save The Frogs Day?

In 2011 we plan to have a central location, likely in the San Francisco Bay area, where we will have a large benefit concert, live lectures and more. But for now it is up to you to make something happen in your own community! Be creative!

When is the 3rd Annual Save The Frogs Day?

Mark your calendars: the 3rd Annual Save The Frogs Day will be held on Friday April 29th, 2011.

How did you choose the date for Save The Frogs Day?

Save The Frogs Day will take place on the final Friday of April each year. We chose April because frogs are active (in the temperate Northern Hemisphere anyway), and because it's warm enough that field trips can take place. Also, schools are in session and most universities have not yet started exam, so students can take an active part in Save The Frogs Day. Why Friday? It's a school day, yet also a great night for benefit concerts and fundraising parties as most working people can go out on the town.

What's the story of Save The Frogs Day?

Funny you should ask. Please read Jeremy Hance's article 'The Story of Save The Frogs Day', which features an interview with SAVE THE FROGS! Founder & Executive Director Dr. Kerry Kriger, who conceived and coordinates Save The Frogs Day.

Can I donate to help SAVE THE FROGS?

Donate Save FrogsAbsolutely! We have no corporate sponsors and thus depend on your support to accomplish our goal of preventing amphibian extinctions through environmental education, scientific research, legal defense, and through the acquisition of critical amphibian habitat. Thanks for your support!
