Donate in honor of a friend or loved one

When your transaction is complete you can send us the name and address of a friend or loved one you would like the donation to be in honor of. We'll send that person a letter acknowledging your contribution.

$50 Donors

All donations of $50 or greater will entitle you to a free 24" x 36" Frogs of Australia poster featuring fantastic photographs by SAVE THE FROGS! Executive Director Dr. Kerry Kriger. These make great gifts, and we can gladly send the poster directly to a friend or loved one if you like, acknowledging your contribution. You will be able to provide a mailing address upon completion of your donation.

$2,000 Donors

Donate $2,000 or higher and you will be entitled to have a SAVE THE FROGS! Amphibian Conservation Award created in the name of your choice1. For instance, if your friend Mary Jenkins loves frogs, or if you are a member of the Wildlife Society of Arkansas, we could create an award named the Mary Jenkins Award for Amphibian Conservation, or the Wildlife Society of Arkansas Award for Amphibian Conservation. Awards are disbursed to talented undergraduate and postgraduate researchers and professors to assist in important amphibian conservation projects worldwide, as detailed on our Awards page.

$5,000 Donors

Donate $5000 or higher and you may be eligible to have a SAVE THE FROGS! scientist present a slideshow lecture on amphibians at a suitable location of your choice, such as your school or your organization's office2. SAVE THE FROGS! has affiliated scientists in many regions throughout the world (most of North, Central and South America; Australia and New Zealand for instance), so we should be able to accommodate most requests. Please feel free to contact us to determine your eligibility.

$100,000 Donors

The World Conservation Union (IUCN) estimates that worldwide amphibian conservation efforts require a minimum of $82 million per year. If you, your business or organization donates $100,000 or more to SAVE THE FROGS!, we will (1) gratefully acknowledge your contribution to amphibian conservation in a visible location on our homepage for a time period of one year; (2) create an annual $2,000 Amphibian Conservation Award in your name, or that of your business or organization. This award will help fund the research expenses of one exceptionally talented graduate student researcher each year for as long as SAVE THE FROGS! exists. Graduate student research is the primary contributor to our knowledge of amphibian biology, ecology and conservation; (3) allow you to host a free lecture on frogs by SAVE THE FROGS! Executive Director Dr. Kerry Kriger; (4) provide you with a 'Certified Frog-Friendly' button to put on your web site; this button will link viewers to a web page that confirms your 'Frog-Friendly' status and explains what you have done to support amphibian conservation; (5) send you a framed certificate to put on your wall; and (6) provide you with a free 24" x 36" Frogs of Australia poster.

1 Awards will be disbursed to talent applicants who are chosen by members of the SAVE THE FROGS! Advisory Committee or Board of Directors. SAVE THE FROGS! reserves the right to reject suggested names that we find offensive or inconsistent with our mission, and reserves the right to decide on the precise wording of the Award name. Awards will be created in the amount of 75% of your donation, with the remainder devoted to non-award related amphibian conservation projects, and towards covering (1) administrative fees related to reviewing Award applications, and (2) financial transaction fees, both of which we attempt to keep as low as possible.

2 We will do our best to meet all requests for presentations. However, due to the high transportation costs involved in reaching some locations, and security issues involved in some regions, we reserve the right to refuse requests for presentations. Please contact us in advance to determine your eligibility. If you are deemed eligible, we will make every effort to give presentations as soon as possible after the donation is made; however, due to potential scheduling conflicts we can only guarantee that the lecture will take place within 4 months of the donation being received. Lecture locations must be appropriate venues with access to a data projector and a white screen for slideshows. Please note that free lectures will NOT be given to donors who request that their donation be directed towards Amphibian Conservation Awards detailed in the above paragraph, as those funds are directed specifically towards external conservation projects. We can however offer you reduced rates on lectures. Please contact us for more details.
