In an effort to raise awareness of the plight of amphibians, SAVE THE FROGS! Founder Dr. Kerry Kriger lectured on the amphibian extinction crisis at over 40 venues throughout North and Central America in 2009, including the National Geographic Society, the California Academy of Sciences and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. Save The Frogs Day - April 28th, 2009

In an effort to raise awareness of the plight of amphibians, the scientific community declared April 28th, 2009 the 1st Annual 'Save The Frogs Day'. On this day we encourage the appreciation and celebration of amphibians by people from all walks of life.

Have a look at some of the events that took place on Save The Frogs Day 2009, which was legally recognized by the Governor of Virginia, the Mayor of Vancouver, British Columbia and the Chairman of Prince William County, Virginia.
