Smilisca phaeota -- Masked Treefrog -- malformed

This frog has some strange growth, the likes of which I had never seen before. If you know what it is, please email me at kerry@savethefrogs.com. He also had a leech on his lower back, and two small flying bugs near his other eye.

I found this frog in an ephemeral pond in Wekso, home of the Naso Indians, on the Rio Teribe, in the eastern lowlands of La Amistad Biosphere Reserve.
