Limnodynastes peronii - Striped Marsh Frog
The Striped Marsh Frog is a very common frog that inhabits lowland ponds and swamps throughout eastern Australia. Its popping sound is often heard in suburban areas, as it deals quite well with degraded habitats. I photographed this frog at a cow pond in southeast Queensland's Numinbah Valley.
This photo is featured on the Frogs of Australia poster available in the FROG STORE. All proceeds go to SAVE THE FROGS! amphibian conservation projects. As if that's not cool enough, you get a free SAVE THE FROGS bumper sticker with your purchase!
