Litoria chloris - Southern orange-eyed treefrog times 2

Litoria chloris is quite possibly the coolest frog on the planet.

The frog in the foreground is featured on our 100% organic cotton SAVE THE FROGS! T-shirts available in the savethefrogs.com Gift Center. Please show your support: you'll help spread the word about the plight of amphibians, and all proceeds benefit SAVE THE FROGS! amphibian conservation efforts.

Southern Orange-eyed Treefrogs lay their eggs in streamside pools that form when water levels temporarily rise during a heavy rain. They have a loud call and virtually no anti-predator response.

Bert Rutten (the crazy Dutchman) and I found these two near a waterfall in Natural Bridge in Queensland's Numinbah Valley one rainy night.
