The Multi-Language Project

Introduction

Amphibian declines are occurring worldwide, not just in English speaking countries. We are proud to say that the SAVE THE FROGS! web site is currently available in 23 languages, as listed below.

Though the pages below are an excellent start, they are sub-optimal as they were translated by computer software. Computer translated pages are:

(1) prone to have occasional errors;

(2) unlikely to be detected by search engines; and

(3) unable to translate our online donation system.

Thus our goal is to have a sub-set of our site (the 10 most important pages) translated by hand, hosted in the users' native country, and with appropriate keyword tags so that non-English speakers can find our site.

If you would like to help translate SAVE THE FROGS! web pages into your native tongue, or if you are a web designer skilled in the structural aspects of multi-language sites, please contact us. Thanks!
