The New Zealand government proposed opening critical frog habitat to mining, which would have doomed the critically endangered Archey's frog to extinction. Thanks to the hard work of University of Otago amphibian biologist Dr. Phil Bishop and the 1,275 SAVE THE FROGS! supporters that sent letters to the New Zealand government urging them to abandon their proposal, the mining plans were buried, and the frogs are safe...for now. Watch this video of Dr. Bishop giving a webinar on New Zealand's very unique amphibians. From the SAVE THE FROGS! Webinar Series.
