In 2013, Professor Jean-Marc Hero spoke at TEDx (St. Hilda's School) in Australia to raise awareness of the rapid disappearance of amphibian populations and to inspire people to take action to save frogs from extinction. Professor Hero was an original member of the SAVE THE FROGS! Board of Directors and from 2003-2007 served as SAVE THE FROGS! Founder Dr. Kerry Kriger's Ph.D. supervisor at Griffith University in Gold Coast, Australia.

"That was one very sobering presentation. I forwarded it to a number of people. This should concern everyone on the planet."

Inspiration

"Do not hesitate to aspire to the highest possible attainments in anything you may undertake, for the mind forces are ever ready to lend themselves to a purposeful will in the effort to crystallize its highest aspirations into acts, accomplishments and events."

Testimonials

"Hi Kerry, thank you so much for a great summer. I also wanted to thank you again for taking extra time to speak with me regarding my environmental goals. Since speaking with you, I have a much clearer trajectory forward and know the next steps I need to take. I cannot thank you enough! Speaking of which, I had an extremely productive and helpful talk with Shannon Curtis (former SAVE THE FROGS! Board Member) this morning. He had a lot of really great thoughts regarding working with the County in one of its environmental departments, and I also really enjoyed talking stormwater with him since that's been a big interest of mine. Best wishes."
