Save The Frogs Day in Panama

"We hosted about 50 people to raise awareness about the amphibian crisis. The event included wagon rides down a trail to find the (now-extinct in the wild) Panama Golden Frog, frog trivia, and a special playlist of various frog calls. The event was also a fundraiser and we raised $212.73 for the Gamboa Amphibian Rescue Project. In addition to raising awareness we were also celebrating the release of my frog documentray The Red Frog Story." - Save The Frogs Day Event Organizer Kendall R.

Testimonials

"I am a former Herpetology Keeper's Assistant, and an avid nature and wildlife photography buff. I love frogs because…well, heck, how can one NOT love frogs? They are also (and most unfortunately) a visual representation of the damage we are doing to the natural environment, and to the planet as a whole. They are our modern day canary in a coal mine. We would do well to heed their warning…"

“He who has his heart in his work is certain to meet with unbounded success. He will give and continually give, and the more he gives the more he will receive.”
