Save The Frogs at Discover Amazonia in Scotland

Dear SAVE THE FROGS!

I am the education officer for a small indoor tropical zoo in Scotland called Amazonia. We recently held a Save The Frogs! themed awareness day where we held crafts, activities, quizzes and a fundraising games. We had a busy day with lots of fun and in total managed to raise a total of £128 GBP. We hope that our funds will be able to support your and our global frog citizens in securing a safer future.  I have included a picture of our ‘SAVE THE FROGS’ banner where visitors painted their hand to create a frog to show their support.
Kind Regards,
Sam Haworth

Gilbert Adum Attending University of Cambridge

SAVE THE FROGS! Ghana Executive Director and Co-Founder Gilbert Adum has gained admission to the University of Cambridge to pursue a Masters degree (MPhil) in Conservation Leadership. Cambridge University is one of the world’s top universities and the alma mater of luminaries like John Harvard (founder of Harvard University) and Charles Darwin (father of evolutionary biology). The Masters program is to equip Gilbert with the strategic leadership skills he needs to enable him to realize his long-term objective of making SAVE THE FROGS! Ghana a model and inspiration for conservationists throughout the African continent. The one of a kind program combines university lectures with nonprofit management practices and covers both the theory and practical aspects of conservation. The program also brings together passionate conservation leaders from around the world. This gives Gilbert an excellent opportunity to make contacts with like-minded conservationists and develop lasting collaborations.

Save The Frogs Day at Linacre University

Save The Frogs Day was held at Linacre University! Event organizers were able to engage with many students, who often knew little about frogs and in general about amphibian conservation. They organised fun activities which hopefully will make the participants recall what they learned from the event!

Froglife held Save the Frogs Day event in conjunction with the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland at the Highland Wildlife Park in Kingussie. Participants learned more about amphibians, how they could help them and they became involved with fun froggy crafts and activities throughout the day.
