Do you love frogs, travel and the outdoors? If so, we may have a great opportunity for you. SAVE THE FROGS! is accepting applications for an Ecotour Leader to assist us on the June 2018 SAVE THE FROGS! Ecuador Ecotour, which takes place June 14th to 25th, 2018. The successful leader would join the ecotour at no cost, and potentially have international airfare covered; if you are an exceptional applicant, we may even be able to pay you on top of all that! You will be assisting SAVE THE FROGS1 Founder & Trip Leader Dr. Kerry Kriger. You will be expected to assist with field excursions; help keep participants happy; coordinate with ecolodges, restaurants and drivers; and assist with anything else that comes up related to ensuring the safety and happiness of participants. Please see the application below if you think you would make an excellent Ecotour Leader.

Ecuador Ecotour
Chelsea Carson led the 2016 and 2017 SAVE THE FROGS! Ecuador Ecotours but won't be able to take part in 2018. Are you the right person to carry on where she left off?

"I grew up in the backwoods of Louisiana. As a child, my grandmother used to tell me, "you will have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find a prince." I would run around kissing frogs and she would laugh. She passed away many years ago. Frogs remind me of her. Throughout my life, frogs have had a symbolic meaning to me of change, hope, love, and home. Now that I moved back to Louisiana, I have a pond in my back yard so that I can hear the frogs at night. I am saddened by the fact that the tree frog population is dwindling. I am very environmentally conscious and try to keep my yard full of indigenous plants to help the local ecosystem."

Daphne Moran

“All experience serves to illustrate and enforce the lesson, that a man perfects himself by work more than by reading, that it is life rather than literature, action rather than study, and character rather than biography, which tend perpetually to renovate mankind.”

Samuel Smiles
