On December 13th, SAVE THE FROGS! and our non-profit neighbors opened their doors to the public for a night of fun and festivities! SAVE THE FROGS! and over 250 people celebrated the season with food, drinks, live music, a free raffle, and many received a sneak-peak of the SAVE THE FROGS! Education Center. We were delighted to meet so many interesting people and thank you all who came out and supported this wonderful event!
The Education Center will serve as a space to hold educational presentations, classes and workshops; it will enable us to raise more funds for frog conservation as we will finally have a physical location at which to sell our eco-friendly merchandise; and it is located on a major street and thus will help us spread our message far and wide and attract many new supporters. Berkeley is a well known, international city with a world-renowned university and a history of environmental activism. We will benefit from and contribute to a community that is on the cutting-edge of environmental action. The SAVE THE FROGS! Education Center will be located at 2524 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94702, just across the Bay from San Francisco. See you again in February 2014!
The SAVE THE FROGS! Webmaster is your friendly frog-loving robot who keeps this website running 24/7/365 to ensure that frog enthusiasts around the world are educated, inspired and empowered to save frogs and other amphibians from extinction!
