“Our event called in Spanish “Día de Ranas y Sapos” took place at Centro de Educación Ambiental Tepenahuac, in Milpa Alta, a rural place of Mexico City. We provided information about amphibian biology, worldwide frog crisis and we promoted conservation of local frogs through knowledge of local fauna via photos and videos. We provided activities for kids such as making frogs with recycled materials and games related to frog abilities (like jumping contests).” – Save The Frogs Day Event Organizer Carlos M.
“Our first Save The Frogs Day event was a great opportunity to give people information about the importance of amphibians in nature. We also enjoyed the enthusiastic participation of kids in outdoor activities related with amphibian skills. Thanks to participants and SAVE THE FROGS! organization.” – Carlos Madrid, Amphibian Biologist
